Ubud is a town on the Indonesian island of Bali. The town is located amongst rice paddies and steep ravines in the island's central foothills in the Gianyar regency. One of Bali's major arts and culture centres, it has developed a large tourism industry.
Ubud at 2006 has a population of about 8,000 people, but it is difficult to reckon the correct, cause a big migration from this place to other and the contrawise.

Museum Rudana and Rudana Fine Art Gallery
Museum Rudana is an art museum located Ubud village, Bali, founded by Nyoman Rudana, a paint curator and also parliament member of Perwakilan Daerah (DPD) mewakili Propinsi Bali periode 2004 2009 dan diresmikan oleh almarhum mantan Presiden Soeharto tanggal 26 Desember 1995. This Museum collect more than 400 pieces painting and sculpture from many countries. At the same place kompleks, berdiri Rudana Fine Art Gallery yang didirikan pada tahun 1978 dan merupakan cikal bakal berdirinya Museum Rudana.
